Johnny Joe is 8 weeks old.
He weighs about 14 pounds.
His eyes are blue and his hair seems to be a coppery blond.
He smiles and laughs.
He likes sitting in the vibrating bouncy seat, looking at the black and white pictures that his sisters drew for him.
He wakes with his sisters in the morning, and then naps in his swing after they leave for school.
He eats, eats, eats.
He fusses at night, but then again, who doesn't.
He quiets to the sound of running water and NPR.
He loves having warm water poured over him.
He sneezes and then says, "Oooooohhhhhh."
He smells like milk.
He is a sweet, beautiful boy.
He is sleeping on his mommy's shoulder right now.
Life is good.
